Approach

Focused on the priorities of the chairman, the managing director, and the board

Our approach

Bespoke problem solving. Precision in solutions. Melding of fine judgment and global experience.

Erevna’s work is bespoke. Solutions are based on a deep understanding of the context and the singular appreciation of the organisation’s needs. Solutions for your organisation are designed to your organisation’s realities; they cannot function for another. While Erevna brings to bear global experience from sectors and geographies, solutions remain grounded in the organisation’s unique context and culture. Case studies and benchmarks inform; they do not determine.

Erevna’s work is precise. While solutions are founded on sound organisation philosophy and business principles, they are precise enough to summarily solve the problem or capture the opportunity at hand. Solutions are elegant such that they capture the imagination, yet pragmatic such that they are straightforward to get behind and execute.

Erevna’s work is grounded in experience and judgment. Built over two decades advising chairmen, MDs, and boards on issues of topmost organisational priority. Work at this level requires a fine, nuanced and silent judgment of what really matters to these individuals, and how that might come about.

How engagement works

A Deliberate, Staged Process

  1. 01

Engagements unfold in stages. An initial conversation with the chairman or MD to understand the situation, aspirations and constraints. Exploratory. No commitment at this stage beyond candour.

  2. 02

If there is mutual interest, the engagement starts. The first stage of discovery follows. Structured conversations with the top team, stakeholders, and board members (if applicable). Diagnosis of what truly constrains performance and prevents opportunity capture. Typically 2-3 weeks.

  3. 03

From diagnosis emerges scope – what the work will address, what success looks like, timelines and phases of project work, the access and inputs required from the organisation. Typically 1-2 weeks.

  4. 04

The solution development phase can range from 3 to 5 months, depending on scope, scale and complexity. Periodic structured interactions with the chairman or managing director lead to reviews and refinements of solutions. A scheduled final review locks in the organisation solution in its fullness, and its implementation plan. Leading on to the handover phase. Erevna’s work during solution development is independent and objective, and steadfastly and solely focused on the priorities of the chairman or managing director.

  5. 05

Handover comprises a communication and explication of the solution to relevant CXOs and senior management, under the aegis of the chairman or managing director. Implications – individual and collective – are shared. Execution responsibilities, milestones and timelines are agreed upon.
